CERRA: Katie serves as the Program Specialist for CERRA's Teaching Fellows Program. With decades of experience, she works to ensure that students at Teaching Fellows Institutions across the state have a meaningful and rewarding program experience. A key part of her role is providing campus directors access to resources, training, and assistance needed to meet the needs of Teaching Fellows on their campuses. Through this work, Katie ensures that both the program leaders and Fellows are equipped to thrive.

The Teaching Fellows Program recruits the best of the best and prepares these future teachers to positively impact education in South Carolina. Teaching Fellows commit to teaching in a South Carolina public school for one year for every year they accept fellowship funds. Katie’s commitment to both the Fellows and the campus directors who serve them helps strengthen the program’s impact, ensuring that it continues to shape highly qualified educators dedicated to serving students across the state.
