Education: Arthur, a Charleston native, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the College of Charleston and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from the University of South Carolina.
Experience: Arthur has dedicated several decades to the field of education and continues to find fulfillment in his role as a Program Facilitator. He began his career as a sixth-grade science teacher at W.A. Perry Middle School in Richland County School District One and later taught biology and environmental science at Airport High School in Lexington School District One. In addition to his classroom experience, Arthur has served as a Loan Counselor and Public Information Officer at the South Carolina Student Loan Corporation.
CERRA: Arthur's involvement with CERRA began as a ProTeam teacher. From 2003 to 2005, he served as a Teacher in Residence for Region 3 (The Midlands). He rejoined CERRA in 2011 as a Program Facilitator for Region 3. Aurhtur also oversees rural recruitment efforts across the state of South Carolina.
