Grant Promoted to Program Director

ROCK HILL, S.C. Tria Grant, who has served as a Teacher in Residence for the past year at the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement (CERRA) has been promoted to Pre-Collegiate Program Director. Her primary responsibilities will be the management of CERRA’s Teacher Cadet Program and Team9 REACH.

In her year as Teacher in Residence for Region Three (Midlands), Grant was instrumental in the development of CERRA’s Team9 REACH Curriculum and an active leader of the Advisory Board. Team9 REACH, a program designed specifically for the ninth-grade academy model, is a

Prior to joining CERRA in August 2006, Vaughn taught first and fourth grades at Stone Academy of Communication Arts from 1997-2004 and was an Instructional Coach at Heritage Elementary School in the School District of Greenville County . She received her B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston and her Master’s degree in Elementary School Leadership from Furman University.
