2015 South Carolina Teacher Expo
The South Carolina Teacher Expo is a one-day job fair designed to match teacher candidates to current district vacancies. The Expo attracts jobseekers from across the United States and several foreign countries. The Expo is typically scheduled for May or June each year.
South Carolina has adopted the South Carolina Educator Employment Application form which can be completed online and submitted to all or multiple school districts in South Carolina. The application and information about completing the application can found at teachsc.org. The application should be completed prior to attending the Teacher Expo.
Documents to Bring to the Teacher Expo
You should bring multiple copies of each document; a copying machine will not be available on site.
· Academic transcripts
· Teaching License*, if currently licensed in South Carolina or any other state
· Letter of Eligibility, if issued by the SC Dept. of Education, due to pending licensure status
· Driver’s License, Social Security card, or other proof of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
